CETIM Showcases RESURGENCE at ‘Beyond the Horizon’ Conference

CETIM’s representatives, Pablo J. Frieiro Gomis and Santiago García, actively participated in the 12th edition of the ‘Beyond the Horizon’ Conference, a pivotal event discussing Spain’s participation in the European Union’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation. The event provided a platform to analyse national contributions to European projects and explore the future of EU R&D funding.

During the conference, CETIM highlighted the RESURGENCE project, a Horizon Europe initiative aimed at transforming industrial wastewater management. Led by CETIM, RESURGENCE is at the forefront of developing a circular water management model designed to achieve:

• Zero waste and zero emissions in industrial processes.
• Enhanced climate neutrality in industry.
• Improved competitiveness of European industries through innovative water management practices.

The project embodies CETIM’s commitment to advancing sustainable industrial practices while addressing critical environmental challenges.

The event was organized by CDTI Innovación, the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain, the European Commission, the Oviedo City Council, and Agencia Sekuens, offering an exceptional platform for collaboration and innovation.
