Organik Kimya showcases RESURGENCE at the 15th International Workshop on Polymer Reaction Engineering

The RESURGENCE project was presented at the 15th International Workshop on Polymer Reaction Engineering, held in Potsdam, Germany, on 8–9 September 2026, thanks to the participation of project partner Organik Kimya.

Through the poster “Industrial Water Circularity: Water Reuse, Resource Recovery, and Energy Efficiency for Greener and More Digitalized EU Processes,” Organik Kimya showcased RESURGENCE’s work on making industrial processes more circular and resource-efficient.

The presentation highlighted Organik Kimya’s role as the project’s chemical-industry case study, where chemical and biological wastewater streams are being assessed for reuse as process water, alongside opportunities for water, energy and heat recovery.

The event offered a valuable opportunity to increase the visibility of RESURGENCE and exchange knowledge with the international polymer and process engineering community.
