Pozzi Leopoldo Showcases RESURGENCE at eceee “Zero Carbon Industry” Conference in Rome
The RESURGENCE project participated to the prestigious “ZERO CARBON INDUSTRY” conference, organized by the European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (eceee), held on February 5th at Roma Eventi.
Representing the project’s commitment to industrial innovation, Mr. Alberto Pozzi, CEO of Pozzi Leopoldo srl, gave a compelling presentation on technologies that support the circular economy and industrial electrification.
The presentation focused on a high-impact solution: thermal energy recovery from hot industrial wastewater. This technology allows industrial plants to capture waste heat from discharge liquids and reuse it to pre-heat fresh water for production cycles.
This approach aligns perfectly with the RESURGENCE project’s goals, delivering threefold benefits:
- Economic Efficiency: By drastically reducing the need for natural gas to heat process water.
- Operational Optimization: Eliminating the “dead time” usually required to bring water to the necessary production temperature.
