For the first time, Water Knowledge Europe is heading beyond Brussels! Join us in Warsaw, Poland, on 13–15 May for a special edition of WKE2025, held under the patronage of the Polish EU Presidency and combined with the Blue Deal Congress.
Organised by Water Europe, this unique 3-day event comes at a critical time for Europe, bringing together research, innovation, and policy to tackle urgent water challenges and strengthen Europe’s global leadership in sustainability and resilience. At WKE2025, each day unfolds with a distinct focus.
- The opening day brings together Water Europe’s Expert Groups and Communities of Practice – spaces of exchange and forward-thinking, where strategic plans for 2025-2026 are shaped and innovative approaches to water sustainability are shared.
- With the Blue Deal Congress opening on the second day, Water Knowledge Europe’s main event follows to energise the community through networking and discussions on Horizon Europe funding and building consortia for the calls for proposals of the Work Programme 2025.
- The final day gives the floor to EU-funded initiatives at Water Projects Europe, celebrating impactful projects and enabling future collaborations through matchmaking.
