Registrations are open for Water Projects Europe 2025: Circularity in Industrial Water

The RESURGENCE project will participate in the upcoming Water Projects Europe 2025 – Circularity in Industrial Water side event, taking place on 3 December 2025 as part of the Winter Edition of Water Knowledge Europe (2–4 December 2025) at the Thon Hotel EU, Brussels.

Under the theme “Pathways to Circularity: Innovation in Action – Case Study Showcase,” the event will bring together five Horizon Europe and SPIRE projects — RESURGENCE, CORNERSTONE, R3VOLUTION, BOOST-IN, and iWAYS — to showcase how circular approaches in industrial water management can strengthen Europe’s resilience, competitiveness, and sustainability.

Represented by Xuefei Yang (CETIM), RESURGENCE will present its demonstration case studies in the pulp and paper, urban-industrial, and chemical sectors. These pilots highlight how advanced water treatment, resource recovery, and digital monitoring technologies can drive real-world industrial transformation.

Anchored in the Zero Pollution Action Plan and the EU Water Resilience Strategy, this event reflects the growing urgency to embrace circular water use as a cornerstone of the European Green Deal.

The discussion will also explore collaboration, policy alignment, and technological innovation across the projects to foster a Water-Smart Industry and accelerate progress toward zero-pollution industrial ecosystems.
