RESURGENCE Project Showcased at iWAYS Final Conference during SEEP 2025 in London
The RESURGENCE project was presented as a key part of the future of industrial circularity at the iWAYS project’s final conference on July 28, 2025. The event was held in conjunction with the SEEP International Conference at Brunel University London, bringing together leading experts in sustainability and environmental protection.
Dr. Xuefei Yang, Coordinator of the RESURGENCE project from CETIM Technology Centre, delivered an online presentation to the conference attendees. Her talk was featured in a dedicated session highlighting the “new wave of R&I projects for industrial circularity,” positioning RESURGENCE at the forefront of Europe’s ongoing transition to a circular economy. Dr. Yang outlined the project’s ambitious goals to transform industrial waste into high-value resources and foster new symbiotic relationships between industries.
The session also featured presentations from the CORNERSTONE and R3VOLUTION projects, illustrating a coordinated European effort to drive innovation under the Processes4Planet partnership.
The iWAYS final conference marked the culmination of a successful Horizon 2020 project, providing a platform to pass the baton to new initiatives like RESURGENCE that will shape the next decade of sustainable industrial practices.
