RESURGENCE Triumphs at 2nd European Process Industry Conference, Winning “Best Project” Award for Processes4Planet Partnership

On Wednesday, 23 October 2024, the RESURGENCE project was awarded the prestigious “Best Project” title for the Processes4Planet Partnership at the ‘2nd European Process Industry Conference,’ organized by A.SPIRE in Brussels. The Resurgence team, led by the European Projects Office at CETIM, is honoured to be recognized for its efforts to drive circularity in resource management within the process industry.

During the conference, Rebeca Varela Figueroa, Head of the European Projects Office at CETIM, presented Resurgence to an engaged audience of industry and innovation leaders. Following her presentation, a live vote was held, recognizing Resurgence as the top initiative in the ‘Circularity of Resources’ session. CETIM’s Executive Director, Lucía Camino Vázquez Prado, was also present to celebrate this significant achievement.

The project aims to set a new standard for sustainable practices, aligning with the Processes4Planet vision to accelerate the transition to a more resource-efficient and sustainable European process industry. CETIM’s participation in the conference was supported by the STRATEGO grant, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and Agencia Estatal de Investigación, reinforcing the national commitment to advancing innovation and sustainability.
