In case you missed Water Europe’s webinar Zero Pollution for a Resilient Water-Smart Society and Economy, the recording is now available online.
Held as part of EU Green Week 2026, the webinar took place on 11 June. The event explored how water systems can contribute to Europe’s Zero Pollution ambition, environmental resilience and the implementation of the EU Water Resilience Strategy. It also highlighted a central challenge for the European water sector: moving innovative solutions beyond individual pilot projects and towards wider implementation.
The event brought together experts, policymakers, practitioners and EU-funded projects to consider the role of pollution prevention, ecosystem restoration and resilient water management. This approach lies at the heart of a Water-Smart Society: one in which water is valued, pollution is prevented and resources are managed more efficiently.
